A. The terms, Fundraiser, Team Fundraiser, Fundraising Team Member, and Fundraising Team Leader may be used interchangeably. A Fundraising Team Leader is actively guiding and mentoring their respective Team of Fundraisers.
A Charitable Donation is suggested, but not required, to participate as a Team Fundraiser.
Soliciting charitable donations is the primary function of a You plus Two Fundraiser. Fundraising Teams do not consist of individuals who prefer to donate only. One may elect to be a Fundraiser, a Donor, or both.
To assist in their fundraising and potential bonus-earning endeavors, the new Fundraising Team Member purchases a yearly subscription of Fundraising Tools and Entrepreneurial Development Materials via Social Entrepreneurs of America. These tools and materials generate Sales Bonuses to the corresponding Fundraising Team.
As additional Fundraising Team Members are added to each respective Team, Fundraisers work in total to advance a FundraisingTeam Member to Campaign Fundraising Manager, Fundraising Senior Manager, and Fundraising Corporate Manager.
Sales Bonuses are never generated from donations collected, and one-to-one commission payments and headhunting are not allowed under the You plus Two Bonus Structure.
Q. What is a Donor?
A. A Donor has made a monetary donation to one of the ten nonprofit charities recommended by You plus Two. A Donor is not obligated to participate as a Team Fundraiser, nor to make any purchases of support tools. Conversely, a Fundraising Team Member can be a Donor.
Q. Can I raise funds from and with my friends without being a nonprofit?
A. Absolutely.. just be clear about where the funds you raise are going and for what. All one has to do is take note of GoFundMe and CrowdFunding sites. They mostly have free rein to raise money for anything from a start-up, sick cat, to college tuition.
Q. Will my donation be tax-deductible?
Q. Is You plus Two's donation range excessive?
A. Our donation range is neither high nor low. One may donate as little or as much as they see fit. The suggested range is reflective of what is needed to make a more significant impact on the nonprofits we recommend.
We strive to help more people and animals with greater efficiency. Overall, it requires aggressive measures, or larger donations, in order to significantly tackle all the social issues, and your debt, that we have set out to improve. Our mission will forever remain uncompromising in our endeavors to help you reduce your debt.
Q. What is You plus Two?
A. You plus Two is an independent for-profit focused on helping people do as much good as possible with their donations to the benefit of American people and animals. We recommend a shortlist of top charities that we update as needed.
You plus Two, a Social Benefits LLC, Inc. and Profesional Fundraiser & Consultant, was founded by three individuals: Z. Vance Alford II, Douglas Kurfess, Stephanie Mozel, and Richard Pinsonneault.
The three entrepreneurs, who now consider themselves Social Entrepreneurs, forged a loyal, twenty-one-year working relationship that sent the visionaries across the USA for two decades years, attending seminars and exchanging ideas of success with fellow-entrepreneurs.
Out of four personal mission statements, came a team perfectly suited to retool the fundraising industry with a new-school twist and a pioneering spirit to help more people and animals with greater cost efficiency, due to Peer-to-Peer Fundraising.
Q. How does You plus Two have operational funds?
A. You plus Two is a fundraiser that is funded by individuals who choose to support our mission. We are NOT a nonprofit. We don’t take any fees from donations directed to charities we recommend, nor do we receive any fees from charities for being featured on our site.
To make ends meet, we sell fundraising tools and take donations.
Q. Does You plus Two recommend charities for every cause?
A. We do not. You plus Two's mission is to recommend charities that we believe can save or improve the greatest number of lives per dollar donated.
For example, our research revealed that The Red Cross is an effective and wide-reaching nonprofit, yet there are many excellent nonprofits that remain overshadowed.
We focus on the areas that we believe are most promising to achieve our aim. This has led us to only research and recommend charities working within the United States of America.
One of the most rewarding tasks we perform is discovering widely unknown charities, within America, that do a bang-up job.
Q. Can you speak about the bonus plan?
A. Our bonus model brings to fruition a reward structure that revolves around a team's requirement to meet pre-established fundraising goals.
Our team concept does not provide an individual with the opportunity to independently receive a bonus outside of a teamwork environment. Each bonus is paid from the sales of fundraising tools and never charitable donations. Headhunting is never permitted.
